Athlete statement

I take great pride in being a part of the Save the Dream Team – when Alessandro Del Piero, the captain, offered to participate, I agreed straight away. I like the idea of being able to promote the sound values of sport. I’ve always been close to young people and children who should have the right to practice sport: that is very important for the development and education of a child today, because tomorrow he will become a man.

Biography

Christof Innerhofer is an Italian World Cup alpine ski racer.

He competes in all five alpine disciplines but specializes in the speed events of downhill and super-G.

He is an Olympic medalist, winning silver and bronze medals at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia; three World Championship medals in Garmish, and six wins in the World Cup.
