Sport Integrity
“Sport Integrity – A Right for Youth” was enthusiastically attended by leaders from the world of sport, government, international development and child protection. As this last was a particular theme of the forum, it was apt that Save the Dream ambassador and former Olympian Penny Heyns was on hand to highlight the role we can play in uniting young people with ethically sound role models, steering them away from corruption at an early age. The highlight of the event was the call to celebrate sport integrity under the umbrella of the annual International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, by H.E. Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee and Chairman of Save the Dream High-Level Panel. This received universal approval.
