A global campaign in tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of Berlin Wall

The campaign
Sport breaks down walls. Be it physical between countries and communities, be it psychological in our minds. Sport is a tool of public diplomacy.

In tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall (1989 – 2019), Save the Dream, in partnership with the International Olympic Truce Center (IOTC), invites you to share a message of unity within society while focusing on the power of sport to inspire and empower people across different nations, faith or socio-economic condition.

Your message will be primarily promoted through social media channels as a part of an international campaign taking place from the 6th of April, International Day on Sport for Development and Peace, till the 9th of November 2019, the day which marks the demolition of the Wall.

The main aim of the campaign is to invite youth from all around the world to take the lead and use all possible peaceful means, such as sport, to promote intercultural dialogue and peace, and break down the next wall.
